Roger Barnes

As well as working as a craftsperson, I have been an on/off fieldworker on scientific conservation projects in the tropics. I have contributed to a scientific approach to, and an appraisal of the 'natural' world, but have often had an emotional response to it too. I have had many experiences, some disturbing, especially in rainforests. I have also collected a wealth of images and objects, though the latter are beginning to degrade.

I simply want to develop pictures (plus some 3-D pieces, perhaps) to begin to interpret or express the emotional responses.
