During this residency I hope to create a contemporary 'gesamtkunstwerk' incorporating digital video and prints, original work (collages/graph paper drawings), a website, and one or more exhibitions/locations, using the website as the centre of a network of images and locations that together constitute a visual narrative environment in which people can explore.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain access to technologies (specifically printing, photography and video) which would otherwise be prohibitively expensive; and to work in a creative social environment on an entirely self-directed project.

Apart from the the project itself, I hope to achieve a better appreciation of the opportunities that exist for a professional artist and hopefully the self-confidence to take advantage of them.

I hope to make the most of contact with similarly creative people.
