DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 31st DECEMBER 2009

To celebrate 10 years of AA2A schemes we have decided to put together a celebratory document in the form of a digital publication which we will promote and circulate during 2010.

We are inviting the 800+ artists who have been on AA2A schemes since 1999 to tell us their AA2A story and submit three images of their work.

All complete entries will be kept as an archive on our website, particularly for the benefit of students and artists considering applying to AA2A. We will also select 20 stories for our digital publication which we will use to promote awareness of AA2A to regional and national arts organisations and funders.

This is relevant for all AA2A Artists up to those finishing in May 2009.

You can download the application form by clicking here

In brief you will need to supply a 'story' of no more than 700 words explaining what your AA2A has meant to you and how it has helped in your practice. We are looking for a variety of applicants and stories. The content might include:

• if you still have any contact with your host institution
• if your scheme led to any work or other opportunities, either directly or indirectly
• if you've been on AA2A more than once

Also we would like to show 3 images of at least 1000 pixels high or wide as a jpeg. Ideally these should represent:

• work done during the scheme
• more recent work
• you may include an image related to your work, such as a relevant AA2A exhibition flyer or showing you at work, or a technical process
