AA2A Beginning - Start

So, it has finally began. Last week the new intake of AA2A artists at UCLan met up: an interesting bunch and lots of creativity and knowledge there.

As I have been at UCLan for the last three years, first doing a two year MA part-time course in Ceramics and then another year as a result of having been awarded a Fellowship, it may seem like a smooth continuation. Currently not much has changed for me, except for a new uni ID card and email address.

Before really getting stuck into the AA2A project I need to get a couple of things done such as the Open Studio event last weekend at Make North Studios, Preston and next week the York Ceramics Fair.

But then I can start researching/preparing/working on the new techniques that I want to incorporate into my ceramic work which will include printed elements. So, I'll be spending a bit less time in the ceramics studio to be more in print studio. Looking forward to learning new things and expanding my horizon.
