Home Studio.

I would like to kick off this AA2A residency by introducing you all to my current studio space. This week I've been researching Louise Bourgeois, experimenting with latex and silicone, as well as thinking about how both my living space and sculpture can co-exist in the same space.

I've begun to use latex in relationship with my body. Creating casts from my fingers, hairbrush, a massage ball and a bathmat, I'm exploring how my body can be imprinted through other materials within the same spaces.

I'm hoping that my studio space will extend outdoors once I aquire a shed, so I can use materials such as silicone and latex safely in an area that's well ventilated.
