Progress and collaboration

We have been continually working on our respective artworks in response to the changing landscape. What we have found is that it has been invaluable to collaborate.

We speak several times a week and get together as much as we can, either at the university, or visiting each others studios. We share information and images via Google Drive pretty much on a daily a basis. Having someone else to bounce ideas with, someone to offer honest opinions and advice has been extremely rewarding and helpful. It forces you to place ones own ego aside and listen to someone else who you trust and who trusts you, respecting the ideas of another and then working together to solve a problem through shared skills and experience.

Working with another artist does not mean losing your own individuality or identity, it allows you to grow organically alongside one another.
