Over the past few months, I have been undertaking a period of R&D in Cambridge School of Arts (CSA) Futures-Lab. The new facility has state of the art 3D printers, scanners and lasercutters – amongst other tech! Working with CSA’s specialist technicians, I have been trying out different 3D printing and scanning processes.
I have also had the pleasure of creating a new photogrammetry scan at the Horniman’s Study Collections Centre.

Over the winter break I will start to create plaster slip casting moulds from the 3D prints. I'm looking forward to continuing to share this project with you as it progresses.
