Happy new year! We hope you've had a restful festive season and are ready to get stuck into 2023.
Self-Employment Seminars - on Tues 24th January we will be hosting the first of our programme of 2023 Specialist Self-Employment Seminars This is a monthly online seminar for up to 25 participants (students and graduates) from our host universities. The first seminar is ‘Support organisations for Creatives’ with future sessions on copyright, keeping records, funding and other useful information for anyone interested in self-employment. We guarantee two places per host uni but often have spare places to offer so let us know if you’re from one of our hosts and would like to attend.
Artist evaluations - every year we send out two evaluation questionnaires to our current artists, one at the start of their residency and one after it has finished. The first gives us an early opportunity to troubleshoot and resolve any snags to make sure artists and host institutions have the best possible experience of AA2A. The deadline for the first evaluation from artists is now 10th Jan. See highlights here of previous year’s artists’ evaluations
It’s great to see one of our Sunderland Uni artists Mani Kambo showing work in a group exhibition Hinterlands at the Baltic in Gateshead. Don't forget AA2A artists can post exhibitions on our website.
