Employability talks from artists and designer-makers - we've begun releasing our programme of pre-recorded talks for students at current AA2A Host Unis and colleges. The following videos should now be available for students to download from their uni or college VLE e.g. Blackboard:
- The first in our series of five employability themed talk, 'Projects and Funding' with visual artist Lizzy Jordan covers Lizzy's socially engaged practise, her first projects and applications for funding, and how she built her confidence to run bigger projects and set up a social enterprise company
- The second in our series of five employability themed talk, 'Social Media and Web Presence' featuring jeweller Anisha Parmar explores her brand, the value of promotion through social media and websites, selling online, as well as the importance of her heritage as an influence in her work
AA2A's Self-employment talks - we've now released the first in our series of three 'Making it out there' talks on self-employment entitled, 'Portfolio Careers, self-employment and benefits'. This talk covers definitions of self-employment and other legal structures, managing self-employment and employment, and benefits that may be available to the self-employed
2019-20 AA2A Artist's web profiles - just to remind you that if you're a 2019-20 AA2A artist your profile will remain open throughout the 2020-21 academic year. We'll continue to try to promote via social media images of work, exhibitions and blog posts you upload to your AA2A webprofile. So if you're able, please do keep this updated

We'll be on the look out for any work you're making or projects you might be involved in.
