Blacked Out

Glittermouse was pleased to contribute to Blacked Out, a group show in Central London during August 2010 in which nine artists explored light in relation to contemporary practice. In this installation, viewers were invited to explore their physical relationship to the space by interrupting a flickering projection and discovering how the intensity of their shadow on a light sensor changed the projected image. In so doing, visitors were asked to reflect upon the dialogue between the images; cityscapes, buildings, signs, statements and the impositions and implications that these affect upon their relationship with the urban environment. Further images and video of the opening event can be viewed here.
