Fool’s Gold is a collaborative project between artists Pamela Schilderman and Hayley Harrison that will address environmental concerns through art. Backed by Arts Council England and Rugby Borough Council six new artworks will be exhibited at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum January 25 – 14 March 2020.
In order to further inspire the local community to be greener and do more for our eco-system, both artists will work together in front of the public to make a tower from used coffee cups that will grow throughout the exhibition. They will also deliver a variety of art workshops on recycling for all ages.
Pamela will work with filmmaker Pete Regan to produce an animation about conservation which will be included in the exhibition and used as a legacy of the project by being shown in schools.
