From Scarborough to anywhere

Everyone else ran on the sand

But I walked Knowing that

One day you won't be here to catch me

But now you've come and gone

I'd run From Scarborough to anywhere

I'd dig down forever

In hopes of finding you again

I'd take the risk

I break my own fall.

Oil pastel drawing of a sandcastle on Scarborough beach from childhood holidays and beach ball, onto my own handmade paper made using book pages, paper and drawings made during my time on aa2a artist residency at Loughborough University.
