AA2A is a national artist residency programme placing visual artists and designer-makers into higher and further education institutions. 

Our aim is simple: to provide access -
access to space, specialist facilities, and a vibrant creative community. Artists benefit from an invaluable platform to develop their practice, while students gain direct insight into professional working methods.

A professional facing student ambassador programme for 2025/26

Leadership, experience and creative community

Our new ambassador scheme gives students the opportunity to support the residency programme from within - helping with communication, organising events, and gaining experience in arts practice at a professional level. Ambassadors receive mentorship, references, and opportunities to grow their creative network.
