I am a London-based painter whose practice explores the intersection of personal experience and broader socio-political themes, often drawing on psychology and symbolism to reflect on the human condition. My paintings aim to provoke both emotional and intellectual engagement, encouraging viewers to reflect on resilience, identity, and shared humanity.
Alongside my studio practice, I have worked in galleries, museums, and cultural institutions, gaining experience in exhibition installation, public engagement, and arts education. These roles have strengthened my belief in art as a catalyst for dialogue and social awareness.
I am also the founder of Inquisitive Arts, a platform dedicated to showcasing my work, connecting with audiences, and fostering conversations around socially engaged art. Through this platform, I aim to make art more accessible while building a sustainable career as a self-employed artist.
Residencies like AA2A offer the opportunity to deepen my creative practice while contributing to the academic community—sharing knowledge, offering guidance to emerging artists, and inspiring new ways of thinking about art’s role in society. My goal is to create and share work that not only resonates aesthetically but also sparks empathy and meaningful exchange.
