Laura de Moxom is an artist and producer whose practice explores the intersections of photography and printmaking. She interrogates personal experience to connect to large stories, often using alternative photographic processes to create what she describes as “alternative archives of experience.”
She holds a BA in Contemporary Fine Art from Sheffield Hallam University and was a 2024 participant in Julie’s Bicycle’s Creative Climate Accelerator programme.
Her recent project, An Artistic Pilgrimage of the Thames (2024–25), supported by Arts Council England’s Developing Your Creative Practice Award and an A-N Bursary, combined walking, film photography, and environmental testing to examine connection and ecological change.
De Moxom’s background in cultural management informs a collaborative approach, working with communities and institutions. Previous commissions include Grow(Oxford University Museums and Iffley Academy) and From the Ground Up (Arts at the Old Fire Station, Oxford) and Beauty in the Streets (Artsreach and Liberty UK festival).
