I am a Welsh artist born in South Africa, working primarily with collage and tactile, process-driven practices. My work is rooted in observation: I sketch my surroundings and translate these studies into layered compositions that explore place, memory, and materiality. I am particularly drawn to found materials, sourcing scraps from charity shops and everyday environments, allowing their histories to inform each piece. Through experimentation and playful risk-taking, I embrace the unconventional, using texture, fragmentation, and assemblage to create visually rich, conceptually grounded works that balance intuition with considered artistic intent. My practice values curiosity, material honesty, and sustained engagement making.
