I have had an interest in art from a very young age, some of my earliest memories revolving around my creativity, I would paint and draw on every surface imaginable and constantly getting in trouble for ‘ruining’ things. As I’ve grown, my practice has too, I still love to paint and draw but I find myself defying traditional art practices and leaning into more unnatural ways of working. Ideas of feminism and the divide between ‘high’ and ‘low’ art are common themes often present in my work, both how they exist individually in the art world and how they intertwine.
