Chris is a lecturer in Art and Design at the University of Chester, with a passion for making in both the Product Design and Fine Art courses. He has over 20 years experience as a Technical Demonstrator, teaching a range of different workshop processes and techniques to students and visiting artists. Chris' PhD and research practice investigates the incorporation of emerging digital technologies into traditional analogue practices, exploring the crossing of real and virtual boundaries, and their impact on the maker's body when creating art. Working closely with AA2A artists since 2012 and being a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors, he continues to champion the visual arts and maintains his own studio practice.
