Emma Collins is a visual artist and photographer based in Hertfordshire, working across staged photography, print, and digital process to explore family, identity, and the domestic uncanny. Her work is research-led and often autobiographical, returning again and again to the spaces she knows best and the quiet strangeness that lives inside the familiar.
She holds an MA in Photography from Falmouth University, graduating with Distinction. Her Final Major Project, Little Madnesses, has been exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and Four Corners Gallery, the Fabrica x Sussex Contemporary Resonance exhibition, and a solo exhibition in the In.Between gallery at Fabrica.
Alongside her practice, Emma teaches Photography at A Level and GCSE at a specialist SEND college in Hertfordshire, and has guest lectured and mentored students on Falmouth's MA Photography programme. She previously co-founded Made for
Documentary, an international photography education platform.
