Rosana Antolí is a London-based visual artist working across performance, installation, painting, moving image and sound. Her practice investigates movement, repetition and collective behaviour, increasingly extending these questions towards ecological systems, water and more-than-human forms of agency.
Antolí holds an MA in Performance/Sculpture from the Royal College of Art, London, and a BFA in Fine Art from the Universitat Politècnica de València. Her work has been presented internationally across museums, galleries and interdisciplinary contexts. Recent projects include An Aria for the Mallard, a site-responsive sound installation developed for CAM Centro de Arte Moderna, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon, in collaboration with a composer, scientist and soprano.
Her work has also been presented at CentroCentro, Madrid; Centro Párraga, Murcia; and The Ryder, Madrid, among others, and is held in the permanent collection of IVAM – Institut Valencià d’Art Modern. Her current research explores wetlands as unstable spaces for thinking through transformation, coexistence and alternative forms of narration, bringing together artistic research, sound, moving image, installation and performance.
