Richard Woolrich is a Doncaster-based multimedia artist whose practice explores memory, material culture, and the traces we leave behind. After returning to education later in life, he discovered how transformative art can be for confidence, learning, and mental wellbeing. His work engages with themes of mourning, family heritage, and labour, combining photography, projection, and handmade material processes to create immersive and reflective installations. Richard is passionate about socially engaged practice and creating welcoming spaces for creative dialogue within education.
